An eyebrowed window wide-awake
yet screened with mesh
to blind its gaze
not so, not so,
my mind decreed
so I embellished
as I pleased
with buddleia
for summer's eye
to please an
absent butterfly
a happy dog
on river mission
makes a cheering
cool addition...
Framed you see
to kiss the blind
and hide the humdrum
that's behind.
And who's the say
my vision's fake?
when I'm just dreaming
while awake?
